Host a House Concert : A house concert is exactly what it sounds like; a concert that you host in your home. Its an opportunity for you to invite your friends/family/peers over for a night of entertainment and fun without you having to step outside your front door. If you have a room that can accommodate a keyboard and seating for your guests, then you qualify! Here’s how it works:
1) E-mail bookings@lisettexavier.com indicating that you are interested in hosting a house concert. In the e-mail, list possible dates that work for you. Also include where you live and how many guests you plan on inviting.
2) Once a date is confirmed a ‘Performer Guarantee’ will be set based on where you live. For example, all locations within Calgary have a $100.00 Performer Guarantee. So if you invite 10 people at $10/each the performer guarantee is met. If you invited 20 people you could either charge $5.00/each to meet the minimum guarantee or you could keep the entrance price at $10.00 and make me extra happy! ;) - another option is to have no entrance free and allow donations at the event. This often exceeds the performer guarantee and allows guests to donate a price they feel comfortable with based on the performance.
3) Send out invitations! Invite anyone you know who might enjoy an intimate night of music and laughter. House concerts are a great way to interact and find out everything there is to know about an artist. Ask me questions about my songs, make requests, and help me realize my dreams!
